JOMA is the scholarly journal of the Mathematical Sciences Digital Library (MATHDL), for which Mathematical Association of America (MAA) has been granted start-up funding by the National Science Foundation (NSF). MATHDL will be hosted by Math Forum. Its first issue will appear in January, 2001. JOMA will publish * research articles on student learning via online materials and other technology-rich environments, * innovative class-tested web-based learning materials, * articles on design and use of online materials, * surveys of existing online materials, * high-quality "mathlets" (self-contained, dynamic, single-purpose learning tools), and * other articles on related subjects. All articles and other materials published by JOMA will be peer-reviewed. As each new issue is published, the content of the preceding issue will be archived in MATHDL. www.joma.org
This journal, which is published only in electronic form, aims to enhance mathematics teaching for all ages (and abilities) up to 18 years, through relevant articles, reviews and information from around the world. It is aimed at practitioners and educationalists, providing a medium for stimulating and challenging ideas, innovation and practice in all aspects of mathematics teaching and learning. http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/ijmtl/ijmenu.htm
A Publication of the University of British Columbia Mathematics Department We seek to produce a lively, timely, refereed electronic journal whose content will focus on the communication of Mathematics, at all levels, via digital media. The main criterion for acceptance, other than quality, is that the submission have an essentially ``electronic'' component, for example, interactivity, output from graphics programs, lots of color, parts in HTML, or other features which conventional paper journals can't handle. We provide technical advice. http://sunsite.ubc.ca/TheElectronicMathematician/
