Fig. No. Figure k Description

1

Takeoff 1 The plane is at a standstill. The engine accelerates gradually and the Takeoff run begins. It moves down the runway in a straight line, lifts off gently, and climbs out at a gradual angle, doing a 90o turn, away from the judges line, then a short straight leg, and then it does a 270o turn in the opposite direction. When the plane has complete the 270o and is flying in a direction opposite to the takeoff heading, the plane flys straight and level downwind.

2

Double Immelman 2 The plane flys straight and level downwind, the plane flys past the pilots and pulls up into a nicely rounded half loop. Up on top it does a half roll to straight and level flight. It flys straight and level for one second and then dives down into a half of an outside loop. At the bottom of the outside loop the plane again does a half roll to right-side-up and flys off straight and level.

3

Half Reverse Cuban Eight 1 The plane pull up into a 45o climb, do an half roll to inverted, continue the climb to enter the half loop, after the half loop the plane goes straight and level downwind at the entry altitude.

4

Cuban Eight 2 The plane passes by you, after it flies by a bit the plane pulls up into a half loop. Just after it goes over the top the plane comes out of the half loop in a 45o dive, inverted, heading for the cross-over point. At the cross-over point it makes a half roll to the left or to the right and continues the 45o dive to the entry altitude. There it pulls out of the dive and up into another half loop, throttle down at the top and goes into another 45o dive. A half roll at the cross-over point and it pulls out going straight and level downwind at the entry altitude. Open the throttle and off it goes.

5

Humpty Bump 2 The plane pull up sharply into a vertical climb, does an half-rool, continue the vertical climb to enter an outside half loop, dive verticaly to the entry altitude. When the plane gets the entry altitude it pulls out, heading in direction opposite the entry and levels off.

5

Three Inside Loops 3 Flying straight and level into the wind the plane pulls up into a smooth, round loop. After the first loop the plane makes a second and a third loop, the loops must be upright and centered on the same imaginary spot in the sky. As the plane finish the third loop, it should be pull out in straight and level flight at the same heading and altitude as it entered the loops.

6

Stall Turn 2 Flying straight and level the plane pulls up sharply into a vertical climb. As it climbs the engines idles down and the plane begins to slow down. When it looks the the plane it will stop, the plane pivots 180o on its left or right wing tip and heads straight down, under control all the way. When the plane gets the entry altitude it pulls out, heading in direction opposite the entry and levels off. The throttle opens up and the plane flies off.

7

Inverted Straight Flight 1 Flying straight and level, the plane makes a half roll to get inverted. Then it flies straight and level inverted for a bit, makes another half roll to the upright position, and continues at the same heading and altitude as the entry.

8

Half Cuban Eight 1 The plane pulls up into a half loop. Just after it goes over the top the plane comes out of the half loop in a 45o dive, inverted, then it makes a half roll to the left or right and continues the 45o dive to the entry altitude, then it pulls out going straight and level upwind.

9

Two Outside Loops 3 Flying straight and level, the plane makes a half roll to get inverted. Then it pulls up into a smooth, round outside loop. After the first loop the plane makes a second, the loops must be upright and centered on the same imaginary spot in the sky. As the plane finish the second loop, it should be pull out making another half roll to the upright position, and into a straight and level flight at the same heading and altitude as the entry.

10

Immelman Turn 1 The plane pulls up into an half loop. Just after it goes over the top the plane does a half roll and fly out straight and level but at a higher altitude.

11

Three Axial Rolls 3 The plane rolls on its axis to the left or right until a complete roll is finished. After the first roll the plane makes a second and a third roll. The recovery should be at the same heading and altitude as the entry

12

Half Loop, Inverted Entry 1 The plane makes a half roll to the left or right, then dive down into a half loop to the entry altitude, then it pulls out going straight and level upwind.

13

Squared Loop 2 The plane passes by you, after it flies by a bit the plane makes a quarter of a loop, continues the vertical climb, then another quarter of a loop, it flies straight and level inverted, then another quarter of a loop, continues the vertical dive, then another quarter of a loop, it pulls out into a straight and level flight at the same heading and altitude as the entry.

14

Landing 2 Slowing down the plane does the downwind leg loosing altitude, then it makes a 180o turn toward the point of touchdown in the upwind leg, the plane loses altitude and slows down to a good landing speed, after 10 meters on the ground the landing maneuver is completed. The descent must be gradual.
