Chinese solar community has proposed a next generation ground-based solar
telescope - Chinese Giant Solar Telescope (CGST). CGST will be an Infrared and
Optical telescope, with spatial resolution equivalent to 8m and light-gathering
power equivalent to 5m. The preliminary designs and some progress of CGST will be
presented in our talk. |
