EVENTS

The main regular event of the SPM is the General Meeting of the Society.
Other
local meetings are organized from time to time. Popular lectures
are organised during the academic year in various Secondary Schools and
Universities. Distinguished mathematicians are invited to give survey
lectures for a general mathematical audience. Summer Schools and
Spring Schools on top research fields are also regular events of the Society.
The "Seminário Nacional de História da Matemática", a working research
group in History of Portuguese Mathematics, also holds regular meetings.

Members are invited to propose topics for discussion in the meetings
and to suggest speakears.
