The venue for the conference dinner is the restaurant Atira-te ao Rio in Cacilhas, on the south side of the river Tejo.

Literally, "Throw yourself into the river" must be a earnest invitation for a marriage of food, breeze and views. The restaurant overlooks the sprawling capital.

Dinner will begin at 20:00 on Friday. It will have a fixed menu, with a choice of main course, for €30.

Please register by sending an email to Pedro Marques no later than Tuesday, 30th of June, letting us know how many are there in your party and the choice of main course:

  • Salmon with mashed beet and cabbage;
  • Pork loin with mashed celery and mushrooms;
  • Cous-cous with vegetables and yoghurt .

You may join us directly at the restaurant: Cais do Ginjal, n.º 69/70, Almada, or you can meet us earlier in Lisbon, close to the docks of Cais do Sodré and take the boat with us. The schedule is:

  • 18:00 Meeting at Quiosque Ribeira das Naus.
  • 19:00 Meeting at the dock of Cais do Sodré.
  • 20:00 Dinner at the restaurant "Atira-te ao Rio".

The google link of Quiosque Ribeira das Naus points to the site before construction took place. This area of Lisbon was renovated in 2013.

The little street bar is reacheable from the metro station of Cais do Sodré (on the green line) heading East along the riverside, or from the main square down-town, Praça do Comércio, heading West.

The boat across Tejo leaves at 19:20 and we must get tickets at the docks of Cais do Sodré.
