A tip I was told and works well is on take off don't pull up fast take your time. From take off pull up slowly until you reach first turn. you will not scrob off speed by pulling up too fast. Watch someone take off pull up hard and all most stall not going very fast. Be smooth every input of a surfce is drag it will slow you down.
