Practical information

Attendees and invited speakers may find the following information useful:

Venue: Rooms 2.2 and 2.4, Department of Mathematics at University of Coimbra.

Schedule of the courses: Classes will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. There will be no classes on Wednesdays. A social program will be made available soon.

Conference check-in and welcome session: On September 11 and September 18 there will be a check-in desk on the second floor of the Department of Mathematics. Speakers and attendees are invited to collect their badges and the School material on that occasion.

Note: Students attending the mini-course of Prof. Johan Hoffman (11-15 September) are kindly invited to bring their laptops to the sessions.

A regular initiative of the UC|UP Graduate Program in Mathematics, the Summer School offers mini-courses by international experts working on topics related to the scientific scope of the Program.

Registration is free of charge, though mandatory. To register, please click
here.

A limited amount of financial support is available for students interested in attending the Summer School. To apply for financial support, send a motivation letter and the transcripts of relevant degrees through the form available here. Also, arrange for a letter of recommendation to be sent directly by the recommendant to summerschool2023@mat.uc.pt.
The deadline to apply for financial support is May 20, 2023.
