Please keep in mind that June is high season in Coimbra, so it is advisable to reserve your accommodation early.
You find below a list of hotels, together with the indication of the availability of public transportation within walking distance. Walking to the Department of Mathematics is always a possibility from downtown, although the way may be somewhat steep. As a general rule of thumb, to get to the University area you should choose walk upwards, while to get to downtown you should walk downwards.
