Call for papers
Authors are invited to submit full papers or posters. Accepted papers and posters abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. Submitted papers will be evaluated by peer review on the basis of originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Authors of accepted papers are expected to attend the conference and present their work.Authors may submit extended versions of the work presented in the conference for a special issue of the peer-review journal “Journal of Spatial Science”, to be published in June 2012.
Conference Topics
Researchers are invited to submit papers on all topics related to spatial data quality, including (but not limited to):- Spatial data quality for the users of geographic information and the general public
- Modeling the quality of spatial data
- Visualization of spatial data quality
- Spatial data quality in Remote Sensing (Optical Satellite Images, LiDAR, Radar, …)
- Spatial data quality in Navigation Systems
- Geostatistical methods for spatial data quality
- Probabilistic and possibilistic aspects of spatial data quality
- Reliability of spatial data mining and spatial analysis
- Data quality and error propagation in spatio-temporal systems

- Quality control for spatial data

Guidelines for authors:
Papers submitted for oral
presentations should be prepared using the WORD template
available below and are required to be in MS-Word
format (.docx
or .doc).
The maximum length of papers is SIX
pages in
the presented format.
Papers submitted for poster sessions should be prepared using the same template as papers submitted for oral sessions and are also required to be in MS-Word format (.doc or .docx). The maximum length of papers is also SIX pages in the presented format. Papers presented in poster sessions will be included in the conference proceedings.
All papers are required to be submitted through the ConfTool.
