Preliminary Results from the EUNIS Experiment

Preliminary Spectra and Images from the April 12 flight of the Goddard EUNIS sounding rocket experiment will be exhibited. With a cadence of 2 seconds in the step and stare mode, the spectra afford an excellent opportunity to address mechanisms of formation and flux enhancement of the helium II 304A resonance line in both the quiet Sun and an active region, both of which were observed. Exampes of these data and their early implications will be presented.
